Designed by Jose Barata y Barrera and Ralph W. Krusvson

1954-1979

Silver Surf  1956

Designer Jose Barata y Barrera

1956-1979

Diamond Star  1958

Hand Engraved

Such a “Jet Age” look, perfect for the 1950’s and 1960’s, but very dated looking now.

A lot of this pattern has made its way to the scrappers over the years.

Diamond Star was hand engraved.  Look close and you can see that while they are the same pattern... no two pieces are the exactly the same due to the hand engraving

1958-1979

Note: Diamond Star and Personna are the same, Personna lacks the

hand engraving, but is perfect for monograming

Carrollton  1961

The Sterling Stieff mark on a piece of Carrollton

1961-December 1979

Charles Carroll

1737-1832

The pattern name comes from the Plantation..

Carrollton Manor, owned by

Charles Carroll of Carrollton Maryland,

the last survivor of the signers of the Declaration of Independence.

United States Senator 1789-1792

When STIEFF bought Kirk in 1979,  many of the Stieff patterns were retired to make room for the Kirk patterns.

The STIEFF patterns would retain the STERLING-STIEFF mark.  Kirk patterns retained the S. Kirk & Son mark.

Any new patterns introduced after 1980 would use the

KIRK STIEFF hallmark as seen below on DANCING SURF

The ARGENT logo which looks like a diamond was introduced in 1984.

As shown on the 1986 pattern Paramount

In 1986 KIRK-STIEFF introduced

PARAMOUNT
