Price list, Circa 1908

 
 

This Price List is undated, but from the McLane & Cider Alley addresses, appears to be from the 1907-1912 era.

This photo is from the small showcase museum located inside the old Stieff Factory on Wyman Park Drive.

Note that Chas. C. Stieff is listed as President and the factory is still in Cider Alley.



Compare the price of the of the ROSE Vegetable fork (small) to the same item in the 1914 price list. Prices of Silver were in flux at the time. At this point, they must have dropped considerably, but no one knew what the future held.      The 1914 list has better prices than this one.


Here are averages of the price of silver at the early century. Note that prices had risen in

1905, 06 and 07and then dropped in 1908. This leads me to believe this piece is from 1908.
