Notations on this pamphlet, perhaps a reflection of an Feb. 1951 price increase?

I do not understand the + notations for the patterns Lady Claire and Betsy Patterson.

Both patterns were already decades old and why certain pieces were delayed until August 1, 1951

A table spoon in Stieff Rose was 7.26, the same spoon in Princess was 16.04 more than twice the cost.
