APRIL 1953 FLATWARE PRICELIST

In April 1953, the Korean War was still being fought. Retail prices were down a bit on silver, but not by much.

The 10% luxury tax was still being imposed.

Many parts of this pamphlet are the same as the January 1951 flatware pamphlet also on this site.

Michael’s Jewelers was a Stieff dealer

Michael’s is now located at 100 Main Street Hartford CN. but sadly no longer able to be a Stieff dealer.

Complete price list pieced together from the scans.

It is interesting to look at what is NOT available in certain patterns. A example is that STEAK KNIVES were not available in Forget Me Not at this time. They had been available in the January 1951 lists.
