You can not get much more High Victorian than Chinese Empire style

Hot Water Kettles to go with your Coffee and Tea Sets.

These were “Made to Order” items at this time. One must imagine that not many were made in the late 1920’s, and they must have been very expensive.

Perhaps someone who had inherited Grandmothers Silver and wanted to complete the set. A few years later in the Great Depression I can not imagine anyone ordering this sort of thing except the very wealthy.
