Notice that the flowers in the border are the flowers in Stieff Silver patterns.

The Factory was built in 1925 and expanded to a two story building in 1929

Note the address of the company is different than the factory.

The address  would remain 17 N. Liberty until 1952 when offices

would be moved to the factory.

The “Flagship” Brand

Princess is also informally known as Hand Chased Rose.

It was also the most expensive pattern made by Stieff

Note that Blunt blades are still the norm.

For ACTUAL MEASUREMENTS of flatware and other pieces,

please see the 1937 Catalog, as Stieff printed them in that edition.

Note that the butter spreaders come in LONG & SHORT sizes. The photo for the “short” spreader is of the Chrysanthemum pattern which was no longer made, but included in the grouping for Rose.

Also note that the name ROSE is being used, and not Maryland Rose.
